Thirty-five firefighters extinguished an attic fire in a single-family dwelling in Lincoln Heights on Sunday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the structure fire at 240 S. Avenue 19 at 2:35 p.m. following reports of heavy fire showing from a one-story residence.

The first arriving unit observed heavy fire conditions and initiated an offensive mode operation.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in 19 minutes.

The department stated that no injuries occurred during the incident. “Unknown cause of fire,” the LAFD added, noting there was “nothing further” to disclose regarding the origin.
