As expected, the Baltimore Ravens have ruled out starting quarterback Lamar Jackson for their Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football. Jackson suffered an ankle injury against the Tennessee Titans and missed all three days of practice this week.

The two-time league MVP has been sharp this season, passing for six touchdowns, one interception and a passer rating of 119.6. The Ravens will look to backup Tyler Huntley to fill in during Sunday’s prime-time showdown in Atlanta.

Without Jackson, Baltimore is an underdog on the road. That would make Atlanta the favorite for the first time all season. We’ll see if Kevin Stefanski’s team can handle the pressure. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. certainly appears up to the challenge.

Penix is 2-0, posting back-to-back quarterback ratings over 100 against the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints, respectively.

The Falcons have won two straight games, both of which happened to be on national TV. Can they do it third time? Tune in on Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET. The game will air as part of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” broadcast.
