Catelynn Lowell Baltierra first rose to prominence in 2009 on the MTV series “16 and Pregnant.”
She married Tyler Baltierra on Aug. 22, 2015, and they have since had three more daughters.
Their first child, Carly, was born on May 18, 2009, and was placed for adoption shortly afterward.
Although they participated in an open adoption for years, Lowell revealed in 2024 that Carly’s adoptive mother blocked them.
They have not seen Carly since 2023, experiencing what they describe as “adoption PTSD.”
Describing the warmth of seeing her daughters unite, Lowell stated, “Seeing them all together is the best,” per a PEOPLE report.
Detailing the profound family connection, Lowell added, “Those are the moments where we feel like, you could just melt into this forever,” according to PEOPLE.
The reality stars raise three younger daughters in their home: Novalee Reign, Vaeda Luma and Rya Rose.
Novalee Reign, born on New Year’s Day in 2015, loves cheerleading and sharing her mother’s passion for animals.
Born in February 2019, their third child, Vaeda Luma, is known as their “rainbow baby” following a previous miscarriage.
Expressing confidence in her third daughter’s spirited nature, Lowell remarked, “This girl is going to run things when she’s older,” per a PEOPLE report.
Their final daughter, Rya Rose, was born in August 2021 with a name inspired by a Disney movie.
Prioritizing health over gender before her fourth daughter’s birth, Lowell stated, “While we wanted a boy since this is our last, as long as she’s healthy … that’s really all that matters,” per Celebuzz and PEOPLE reports.
In late May 2025, leaked messages surfaced indicating the couple attempted to contact individuals alleging to be Carly’s friends.
Facing subsequent stalking and grooming allegations online, the parents stated they would no longer speak publicly about the adoption.
