OAKLAND, Calif. (Next Stamina) – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has activated a Silver Alert on behalf of the Oakland Police Department for 67-year-old Arlean Mason. Mason was last seen on March 11, 2026, at approximately 1200 hours in Oakland, located in Alameda County.
According to officials, Mason is considered at risk. The Oakland Police Department previously requested assistance from community and media partners on April 6, stating Mason is at risk due to medical conditions. The CHP was formally notified of the missing person case on April 13, 2026.
Mason is described as a Black female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and black leggings.
Authorities believe Mason is traveling on foot.
The Oakland Police Department is leading the search effort. This Silver Alert is part of a coordinated attempt to locate individuals who are missing and may have disabilities or medical conditions that put them in danger.
Anyone who sees Arlean Mason or has information regarding her current whereabouts is urged by officials to call 9-1-1 immediately.
