LODI, Calif. (Next Stamina) — Lodi police are investigating a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision at the intersection of Church Street and Elm Street.

Police said the crash prompted traffic delays in the area as officers conducted the investigation.

An adult woman was transported to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition as of the department’s 8:20 p.m. update.

According to the LPD, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police said drugs and alcohol were not determined to be factors in the collision.

Authorities asked any witnesses to contact dispatch at 209-333-6728.

The roadway has since reopened, and the investigation remains active.
