Angel Reese has been one of the star performers for the Atlanta Dream during their postseason run to the WNBA Finals.

The Dream swept the Washington Mystics in the first round before playing the New York Liberty in the semi-finals.

Just like they did against the Mystics, Atlanta were able to go unbeaten, winning the best-of-five series 3-0 to progress to this year’s WNBA Finals.

Now, Isaiah Thomas, who previously played with LeBron James with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers, has taken to social media to praise Reese for her impact on the Dream.

Writing on his X/Twitter account, Thomas stated: “Angel Reese really sitting down and accepting any challenge…. Her energy is what makes the Dream win.”

The Liberty, despite finishing as the eighth seed, are a top side and were able to best number-one seed, the Minnesota Lynx, in the first round of the playoffs.

They also have some big, experienced names in their team, most notably Breanna Stewart.

However, the Dream were able to sweep the Liberty 3-0, and Reese’s postseason form played a key role.

In their third and final meeting on Friday night, the rising WNBA star managed a team-high 22 points as well as nine rebounds and three assists.

The Dream are now set to face the Golden State Valkyries in this year’s showpiece after they beat the Las Vegas Aces.
