ST. CLOUD — Following a 147-yard, four-touchdown performance in a dominant 35-7 win over St. Francis, Sartell senior running back won the St. Cloud Times Athlete of the Week.
Ambrosier leads all area rushers with 837 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season through five weeks, and added a receiving touchdown against Tech. The win against St. Francis is the first game of the season that Ambrosier had four rushing touchdowns, and is his second-lowest yardage total of the season.

He won the poll with 58% of all votes, followed by Becker wide receiver Tarver Schendzielos (4 rec, 109 yards, 3 Tot TD) with 20.5% of votes. Rocori quarterback Tyson Zauhar (5 TD passes), Sartell linebacker Will Hemmesch (2 sacks, 1 INT), Albany setter Lucy Sculte (57 assists, 21 digs in 2-0 week), Sartell forward Mollie Statsick (4 goals vs. Becker; 2 goals vs. Alexandria) and Cathedral forward Amelia Newiger (4 goals, 1 assist in 2-1 week) followed.
Sartell faces Sauk Rapids tonight and hosts Bemidji on Oct. 14.
