Travis Kelce spent his 37th birthday with Taylor Swift in New York City on Oct. 5, then shared a few details of the celebration with fans.

Speaking with his brother and cohost, Jason Kelce, on the Oct. 7 episode of New Heights, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he appreciated the birthday messages he had received.

“The best news that I got on my birthday was that we got a victory,” Travis said. “Victory dubs!”

Jason initially thought his younger brother had turned 38, according to Entertainment Weekly. He also asked whether a different result on the football field would have spoiled the occasion.

A Chiefs Loss Would Have Ruined His Birthday

“If I would have lost, it would have ruined my birthday for sure,” Travis told Jason. Kansas City had beaten the Las Vegas Raiders 30-27 at Allegiant Stadium the previous day. The Chiefs improved to 4-0 and entered their bye week as the AFC’s only unbeaten team.

The Raiders had taken a two-point lead late in the fourth quarter before Patrick Mahomes connected with Tyquan Thornton for a 55-yard completion.

Kenneth Walker scored on the next play, and Kansas City survived another Las Vegas rally before safety Xavier Nwankpa intercepted Kirk Cousins near midfield on the penultimate play.

Torrisi Brought Out an “Entire Arsenal” of Desserts

Kelce and Swift went to Torrisi in SoHo, an Italian restaurant he described as one of his favorite spots. Photographs published by PEOPLE showed the couple arriving hand-in-hand. They had visited the restaurant together before.

Swift wore a black lace-trimmed Simkhai midi dress beneath an oversized Saint Laurent leather jacket. Kelce paired a Louis Vuitton cardigan with wide-legged trousers, according to Page Six.

Kelce described himself as “not a big birthday guy” and said he did not have a cake. Torrisi served other sweets, however. “They brought out the entire arsenal,” he said.

He singled out the yogurt and described another dessert involving espresso, ice cream and chocolate. He called that combination “weird” but “nice.”

Jason’s Question About Presents Got a Short Answer

When Jason asked whether Travis wanted to elaborate on the celebration or discuss any gifts, his brother laughed and replied, “I would love to just keep it moving.”

Later in the episode, Travis reacted to a Halloween display featuring hay figures labeled “Haylor Swift and Travis Kelc-hay.” He praised the idea, then asked, “Why’d they have to make my wife cross-eyed?” Jason suggested the figure might be about to sneeze, prompting Travis to joke that Swift crosses her eyes before sneezing.

For the rest of his time off, Kelce said he planned to continue working out while watching baseball, college football and NFL games. The Chiefs return on Oct. 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium.
