EAST LANSING — Sophomore Addi Duflo finished as the medalist while helping the Bath girls golf team finish as the champion at a Division 4 regional at Michigan State’s Forest Akers East on Wednesday. Oct. 7.
Bath finished with a team score of 351 to win the regional by 20 strokes over runner-up Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett.
Duflo led a strong showing for the Bees, who had all five of its golfers finish in the top 15 individually. Duflo was the medalist with her round of 77 and finished two strokes ahead of runner-up Adalen Brown of Byron.
Sophia Perales shot an 88 to take third and Hattie Lalonde was fifth with a round of 90 for Bath. The Bees also had Mya Vietzke and Brooke Kares finish tied for 14th.
Dansville was the next best team from Greater Lansing at the regional and finished sixth. Diletta McGivern was 12th and Laci Neal finished 14th for the Aggies.
