Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is being removed from the commissioner exempt list, the NFL announced Friday.
Jacobs had been placed on the list on Aug. 30 after a domestic abuse arrest last May. In a statement on Friday, the league said that the investigation into Jacobs’ arrest is ongoing and “is not affected” by Jacobs being removed from the list.
Jacobs will be removed from the list on Monday. He will be eligible to play in Week 7, as the Packers take on the Detroit Lions on Oct. 25.
From NFL just now: Packers RB Josh Jacobs will be removed from the Commissioner Exempt List on 10/19, eligible to play Week 7.
