After a shocking loss that sent Texas tumbling from the top of the national rankings, the Longhorns eye a rebound Saturday against Florida.
The Longhorns (4-1, 1-1 SEC) and Gators (4-2, 2-2) are playing for the third straight year as conference rivals. They split the past two meetings, with each team winning at home. You might have heard or read a time or two that Texas’ loss to four-win Florida last year kept the Longhorns out of the College Football Playoff.
Texas leads the all-time series 3-1-1.
