An ominous weather forecast is in store for Cleveland over the next few days as the Cleveland Guardians are set to host the Tampa Bay Rays for ALCS Games 3, 4, and 5 from October 15-17.
To some fans’ chagrin, MLB has already adjusted Thursday’s Game 3 start time from 8 PM to 1 PM EDT because of weather concerns. Social media has exploded with fans complaining about the change with less than 24 hours notice. Logistical issues concerning flights that do not arrive on time and issues with getting kids out of school to attend the game are the biggest complaints
The bad news is that the same thing could happen for Friday’s Game 4.

Game 4’s forecast looks worse than Thursday’s with rain and thundershowers expected.
Friday’s ALCS game is scheduled to begin at 6 PM EDT. With the complaints heard about Thursday’s time change, MLB will have a tough decision to make.
No one wants to be out in the rain or dealing with multiple rain delays especially in these significant games. The problem will be if Thursday is not as wet and rainy as some are forecasting.

Weekend forecast is dry and clear
The good news is that the weekend looks dry and clear.
Sunday is an off/travel day so there is a chance that Friday’s Game 4 could be moved to Saturday, and Saturday’s Game 5 to Sunday.
