SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Next Stamina) — Firefighters extinguished a structure fire at a single-family dwelling in Sherman Oaks on Sunday afternoon, ensuring all residents evacuated the property without injury.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the one-story home at 14919 W Addison St at 4:05 PM after reports of light smoke showing from the attic.

First-arriving companies coordinated interior salvage operations alongside fire suppression efforts.

According to department, teams achieved a knockdown of the fire in 13 minutes from the time of the initial 911 contact.

Authorities confirmed that all occupants safely evacuated the home. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
