The Indianapolis Colts are signing tight end Pharaoh Brown from the practice squad to the active roster, according to Adam Schefter.

Brown was a late addition to the training camp roster, signing with the Colts on Aug. 6. He appeared in all three preseason games, catching two passes for eight yards. Of his 87 total snaps, 46% came as a blocker, according to PFF.

After being released during roster cutdowns, he was signed to the practice squad.

Brown has been in the NFL since 2017, which includes a stint with the Colts in 2023. He’s appeared in 94 career games, making 56 starts, spending time with Arizona, Miami, Seattle, New England, Cleveland, Houston, and the Oakland Raiders.

For his career, he’s caught 74 passes for 752 yards with three touchdowns. He had two receptions in Arizona last season. He brings special teams experience to Indianapolis as well.

Brown joins Tyler Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, and Drew Ogletree at the tight end position.
