After argument, man injured in shooting at Thirsty’s Liquor Bar in Pembroke Park, Florida

Pembroke Park police are investigating an overnight shooting at a bar that left one man injured. According to Deputy Chief of Police Jason Ochoa, the incident occurred at Thirsty’s Liquor Bar, located at 4426 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd, Local 10 News reported.

Officers arriving at the scene discovered a man outside the business suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel transported the victim to Memorial Regional Hospital. Ochoa stated the victim was conscious at the time of transport and is currently listed in stable condition.

Preliminary reports from Ochoa indicate that an argument occurred inside the bar before shots were fired. Following the shooting, the gunman fled the scene in a silver SUV, traveling east on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard.

Police described the suspect as a white or light-skinned male wearing a light-colored shirt, pants, and a hat. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is providing assistance in the ongoing investigation.
