The Pittsburgh Steelers‘ receiving depth took another hit Sunday, as Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek both exited the team’s 34-22 win over the Indianapolis Colts with injuries.

Wilson suffered a dislocated finger in the first half and was unable to return. Skowronek also left the game before halftime with a calf injury, forcing Pittsburgh to adjust its personnel for the remainder of the afternoon.

Wilson’s injury happened late in the second quarter on a play that initially appeared to give the Steelers an 11-yard completion. Officials overturned the catch after a review, and Wilson was seen favoring his left hand as he made his way off the field.

Wilson entered his third NFL season expected to contribute as Pittsburgh’s third wide receiver. He finished Sunday’s game with one target before being sidelined.

ESPN’s Kimberley Martin later spotted Wilson walking through the stadium tunnel with his left hand wrapped heavily. The Steelers had not provided a further update on his condition as of Sunday afternoon.

Skowronek’s day also ended early. The wide receiver was injured while covering a punt in the second quarter and went to the locker room for evaluation. He did not return to the game.

Pittsburgh was already without Michael Pittman Jr., who is on injured reserve with a foot injury. Losing two more receivers left the Steelers with limited depth at the position, putting more responsibility on the players who remained available.

Head coach Mike McCarthy did not have an update on Wilson or Skowronek following the win. He did, however, praise the younger players for handling the changes without forcing the offense to overhaul its approach.
