No. 12 Texas A&M volleyball finished its SEC road trip with a four-set loss to Arkansas on Sunday afternoon at Barnhill Arena.

The Aggies dropped the first two sets before attempting to rally, falling 20-25, 17-25, 25-20 and 22-25. Texas A&M dropped to 10-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play, while Arkansas improved to 9-7 and earned its first SEC victory in five tries.

Arkansas set the tone by building a 12-8 advantage in the opening set and staying in control the rest of the way. The Razorbacks carried that momentum into the second and held A&M to 17 points while taking a two-set lead. The Aggies responded in the third behind Kyndal Stowers. Stowers’ consecutive aces helped A&M pull even at 16, and Brooke Lacewell later delivered another service run that put the Aggies ahead. Stowers closed the set with a kill to force a fourth.

Texas A&M looked poised to extend the lead after taking a 9-5 lead in the fourth set. Arkansas answered and took a 15-14 lead before holding off A&M’s late push to seal the win.

  • Gabi Rodriguez: Career-high 21 digs

  • Margot Manning: Season-high 19 assists, two aces

The loss was A&M’s second in a row after opening SEC play with three consecutive victories. The Aggies return to Reed Arena to host Florida on Friday at 6 p.m. CT.
