Manchester City will entertain Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure maximum points from this home clash in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants suffered a disappointing 4-2 loss at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain recently, so they would be desperate to bounce back with a win this weekend.
Enzo Maresca will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make a couple of tweaks to his first team for this contest. Both Matheus Nunes and Iliman Ndiaye could play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face Ipswich Town
Defence
Gianluigi Donnarumma will function in between the sticks for Man City after conceding four goals in his last appearance. Marc Guehi will continue to play alongside Ruben Dias at the heart of Maresca’s defence as they focus on keeping a good shape when defending inside their half.
Matheus Nunes will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Josko Gvardiol hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Midfield
Enzo Fernandez will anchor the midfield with Elliot Anderson as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineering a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.
The talented trio of Antoine Semenyo, Rayan Cherki and Iliman Ndiaye will play just ahead of them as part of the Man City attack. All three of them need to combine well if Man City are to secure a convincing win this weekend.
Jeremy Doku and Mateo Kovacic will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Erling Haaland will spearhead Man City‘s attack up top. He would fancy his chances of scoring against Ipswich this Saturday after bagging a brace against PSG earlier this week.
Allan will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
