The Los Angeles Dodgers are back at Dodger Stadium tonight, but they return home under real pressure. Milwaukee took the first two games of the NLCS, including a 7-4 win in Game 2, putting the Dodgers down 0-2 against the best regular-season team in baseball. For Dodger fans, Game 3 isn’t technically an elimination game, but it already feels like the kind of night that can swing the series one way or the other.

The Dodgers now need home field to do what it was supposed to do. A win tonight would cut the series deficit to 2-1, settle things down, and give Los Angeles a chance to fully climb back into the NLCS over the next two games at Dodger Stadium. Another loss would put the defending champions on the brink, so the urgency is obvious. The Dodgers have spent the last few years proving they can handle October pressure, and tonight gives them their first chance to show it in this series.
First pitch for this pivotal Game 3 is today at 5:00 p.m. PDT, and baseball fans everywhere can watch it with Sling TV.
