DAZN Bet Ontario is a fully licensed, compliant online sportsbook regulated by Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission. DAZN Bet Ontario offers a wide range of sports to wager on, plus live betting and Same Game Parlays.

In this DAZN Bet Ontario review, we’ll cover overall performance, withdrawal speeds, live betting, the mobile app, and more.

Key Features of DAZN Bet Ontario

DAZN Bet Ontario offers four unique features: Same Game Parlays, Bet Mentor, Live streaming, and Golden Boost.

Same Game Parlays

With Same Game Parlays, you can add multiple legs from the same game, including an NFL moneyline and a player prop.

Live Betting

For live streaming, you can watch select tennis, table tennis, esports, and soccer matches directly on DAZN Bet Ontario. You can check this out 24/7 to see what sports are being streamed.

Bet Mentor

Bet Mentor is a great tool for beginners to help them assess risk before placing a wager. It’ll help you make wagers based on limits and possible payouts.

Golden Boost

Finally, Golden Boost offers enhanced odds on select markets like moneylines, player props, and totals across various sports. These markets refresh every 24 hours.

Is DAZN Bet Legal in Ontario?

Yes. The AGCO has issued DAZN Bet Ontario a license to operate legally in the province. To play, you must be 19 or older and located in Ontario. DAZN Bet Ontario uses embedded geolocation software to confirm your location.

If you win at DAZN Bet Ontario, casual players pay a 0% tax rate. The Canada Revenue Agency doesn’t consider casual gambling taxable income.

DAZN Bet Sportsbook Performance

DAZN Bet Sportsbook is available on both desktop and an iOS mobile app.

We didn’t experience any issues loading the site and app, and switching between pages for the various markets was seamless.

The Deposit Process

At DAZN Bet Ontario, you can deposit using several methods, including Interac, credit/debit card, bank transfers, PayPal, Paysafecard, and prepaid cards. The minimum deposit required is $5. You’ll see a link to the deposit page in the upper-right corner of the page after signing up for an account.

Navigating the Interface

When the page loads, you’ll immediately see all available sports markets and a search bar in the left-side menu. You’ll also be able to see the number of markets per sports/league. You can also see which wagers will be available in the next 3, 6, or 24 hours.

In the middle of the page, you’ll find another menu at the top for the most popular leagues, and below that, several graphics and featured betting markets.

On the left side of the page, you’ll find the betslip, a way to change your odds format, and Bet Mentor, the tool mentioned above. With this interface, you enter how much you want to wager and how much you want to win, and it makes recommendations.

Placing Wagers and Live Betting

Placing a wager at DAZN Bet Ontario is straightforward: browse the available markets, make a selection, and it’ll appear on your betslip. From there, enter how much you want to wager and wait for the results. You can also add multiple games to this slip and create parlays.

For live betting, you’ll find an option at the top of the site. You can then browse the available markets. To watch games that offer live streaming, you must be logged in. Otherwise, live betting works like pre-game betting: find markets that interest you, add them to the betslip, and wager.

The Withdrawal Experience

At DAZN Bet Ontario, you can only withdraw using the same method you used to deposit. For example, if you deposited using Interac, you can withdraw with Interac.

In speaking to customer support, there are no maximum wins.

Withdrawals can also take up to 24 hours, regardless of method, and have no fees.

DAZN Bet App Review & Real User Scores

The DAZN Bet Ontario mobile app has 180 reviews and a 4.7-star rating. There’s currently no DAZN Bet Ontario app on the Google Play Store.

Pros of the App Experience

Biometric login lets users access accounts in 1.1 seconds using Face ID or fingerprint scanning. The optimized mobile interface reduces battery drain by an estimated 10% during extended 60-minute viewing sessions. Switching between the sportsbook and casino sections takes a single tap with no loading-screen lag.

The DAZN Bet Ontario mobile app for iOS users looks almost exactly like the desktop version, though, of course, it’s optimized to fit a smaller screen. Plus, the DAZN Bet Ontario mobile app lets you wager anywhere in Ontario, whether you’re on a road trip or visiting a friend.

Cons of the App Experience

Any time you use a mobile app, even DAZN Bet Ontario, on the go and away from WiFi, you may run into connection issues. For those looking to do live betting, a bad connection could potentially impact your wagering.

DAZN Bet Deposit & Withdrawal Methods

After you sign up and create an account, you can deposit immediately. As for withdrawals, you may need to provide proof of identity before your first withdrawal as an added layer of security.

Below is a table of the available methods, minimum deposits, withdrawal times, and fees.

As mentioned before, you can only withdraw using the same methods you used for deposits. Customer support referred to this as a “closed-loop” system. There are no withdrawal fees.

Comprehensive Sports Coverage & Available Markets

Right now at DAZN Bet Ontario, I found 32 sports available to wager on. With this many sports, there’s always something to wager on, from primetime NFL games to early-morning international basketball leagues.

Standard and Niche Sports

With 32 sports available, there are plenty of leagues and ways to bet. Of course, you’ll have the standard “big four” leagues: NFL, NHL, MLB, and NBA. You’ll also have the CFL for local teams like the Toronto Argonauts. You can place many types of wagers on these sports and more, including moneylines, point spreads, totals, player props, and parlays.

Numerous niche sports are also available, including floorball, rugby, bandy, handball, snooker, and more. This lets you wager on the World Championships for snooker, the Russian Cup for bandy, and several international matchups in handball.

Depth of Bet Types & Odds Competitiveness

As mentioned, you can wager in several ways at DAZN Bet Ontario and more than other Ontario betting sites. One of the premier markets is Same Game Parlays; these allow you to add multiple legs from the same game and package them together, such as the moneyline and a player prop.

Other markets include System and Teasers. System is another term for “Round Robin,” which lets you wager on multiple iterations of your parlay. For example, if you create a 4-leg parlay, there are 6 possible 2-leg parlay options.

As for Teasers, they let you adjust the point spread and totals to favor you in a parlay, but you will have to sacrifice some of your betting odds.

Customer Service & Support Avenues

At DAZN Bet, the only customer support option we found was live chat. We connected to live chat relatively quickly, but the representative’s response time was a bit longer than we liked. Additionally, it didn’t answer questions correctly on the first pass, which made us wonder whether we were actually speaking with a human representative. However, we eventually got the answers we were looking for after about a 15-minute session. Our questions focused on deposit and withdrawal methods.

DAZN Bet Responsible Gaming

At DAZN Bet Ontario, two sites provide responsible gambling resources and support: BetGuard and ConnexOntario. With BetGuard, you can opt out of wagering for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or a custom period. ConnexOntario helps with problem gambling, and you can call, text, email, or chat with them live.

Additionally, at the bottom of the homepage, there’s a link to the internal Responsible Gaming page. You can set limits on your account, including deposits, losses, session time, and more.
