St. Charles regained the top spot in Class 3A as the only major change in the weekly Louisiana Sports Writers Association statewide football poll. Vandebilt Catholic joined the 3A poll at No.10.

In class 5A, Barbe (6-0) at No. 9 and Mandeville (6-0) at No. 10 were new to the ranking as perennial power John Curtis fell out of the Top 10. In Class 4A, positions 1-9 remained the same although Leesville (5-1) moved into the No. 10 spot.

In Classes 2A and 1A, all positions 1-10 remained the same as last week. The weekly poll is voted on by a group of sports writers from around Louisiana.
