Bologna defender Nadir Zortea says the side have changed the way they play under Raffaele Palladino as they prepare to face Inter in their next league fixture.
Speaking to DAZN after Bologna’s away win over Lecce on Sunday 11 October, Zortea described a different style following the change from Domenico Tedesco to Palladino. He also said the squad had needed to raise its physical condition.
FCInterNews reported Zortea’s assessment, with Napoli Magazine also carrying his post-match comments. Neither account detailed a specific formation or tactical plan, so his remarks offer a broad indication of change rather than a precise preview of Bologna’s approach against the Nerazzurri.
Bologna’s adjustment offers Inter a limited clue
The timing gives the comments relevance for Inter: Bologna’s next league opponent is the Nerazzurri, and the change Zortea described comes after a victory on the road. His words point to a side adapting to a new coach while working to improve its fitness, but do not establish how Palladino will set the team up for the meeting.

That distinction matters in assessing the available information. Zortea did not identify particular changes in pressing, shape or personnel, and the source reports no confirmed selection details for the Inter fixture. The clearest takeaway is simply that Zortea described a difference in Bologna’s style of play and said the side had been working to build its physical condition.
Inter will therefore face a Bologna side whose own defender has acknowledged a shift since Palladino replaced Tedesco. The comments followed a positive result at Lecce, but provide no further detail on how that change will translate into the upcoming match.
