Max Verstappen completed a perfect weekend with a victory at the Singapore Grand Prix in Marina Bay.

Having converted pole into sprint win on Saturday, the four-time world champion carried on his dominance into Sunday’s race, securing his 73rd career victory from pole position on his 250th grand prix start.

The Red Bull man crossed the finish line over seven seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, taking his second consecutive win after Malaysia and his very first at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Current championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli rounded out the podium in third for Mercedes, finishing 24.573s behind.

The McLaren pair of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri took fourth and fifth respectively, followed by Lewis Hamilton, who grabbed sixth in the other Ferrari.

Liam Lawson of Racing Bulls came in seventh ahead of the Audi of Nico Hulkenberg, while George Russell’s Mercedes settled for a lowly ninth.

Isack Hadjar rounded out the top 10, scoring the final point for Red Bull.

Looking at the championship standings after this round, Antonelli’s third-place finish combined with Russell’s P9 opened up a 102-point gap between them.

With six races left and 150 points still available for grabs, Antonelli could secure his maiden F1 world title as soon as the next round at the United States Grand Prix if he manages to walk away from Austin with a leading gap of 125 points or more over his nearest rival.

He would become the youngest-ever F1 world champion at the age of 20, breaking Sebastian Vettel’s record of 23 years and 134 days set in 2010.
