Amos Kipruto has won the 2026 Chicago Marathon, one year after coming in second. He finished with a time of 2:01:09, well clear of second-place finisher Tadese Bikila from Ethiopia (2:02:56).
Kipruto, who hails from Kenya, finished fourth in the London Marathon earlier this year with a time of 2:01:39.
Clayton Young finished as the top American male runner with a time of
Swiss wheelchair racer Catherine Debrunner won and broke her own world record, while her countryman Marcel Hug set a new course record with his fifth straight win.
