A’ja Wilson picked up her record fifth WNBA MVP award on Thursday, and she’ll need to be on her game on Friday night as her Las Vegas Aces look to avoid elimination against the Golden State Valkyries at home in Game 3. No team has ever come back from a 2-0 deficit in the WNBA playoffs, but if anyone can do it, it’s the three-time champs.
Can the Valkyries maintain their momentum away from Ballhalla? Gabby Williams, Kayla Thornton and Tiffany Hayes have come up big for Golden State, and they’ll need to be just as dominant to sweep the reigning champs.
