Formula 1 returns to the Marina Bay Street Circuit this weekend for the Singapore Grand Prix – and the final sprint race of the 2026 season.
Kimi Antonelli took another giant step towards his first world championship at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. His accomplished second-place finish came with the unfortunate late retirement of George Russell. The Italian’s lead over his Mercedes teammate is now 84 points with seven rounds remaining.
Max Verstappen claimed his first victory of the season – and Red Bull’s first as a power-unit supplier – in Sepang while Lewis Hamilton fought back from a dreadful start to claim a memorable podium for Ferrari.
Singapore represents the final sprint weekend of the season, with Russell claiming three short-format victories this season. However, the Briton will start from the back of the grid for this Sunday’s grand prix after taking a new power unit.
