Cedar Park hosts Hutto on Friday at Gupton Stadium in a Central Texas high school football game with big implications in District 24-6A.
The Timberwolves (6-0, 2-0) put their undefeated record on the line against arguably their toughest opponent yet. Hutto (5-1, 2-0) features Oklahoma commit wide receiver/defensive back Jaiden Fields and an electric offense that has scored at least 50 points every game this season.
Cedar Park also features a strong offense, led by quarterback David Cooper, and a stout defense. The Timberwolves posted impressive wins over Waco Midway and A&M Consolidated in nondistrict play.
