The Packers were missing a running back at Thursday’s practice and they signed another one to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the Bears.

Chris Brooks has missed both days this week with an ankle injury. The Packers signed Pierre Strong off of their practice squad and he joins Kaleb Johnson and MarShawn Lloyd as backfield options.

The Packers were also without guards Aaron Banks (knee, toe) and Jacob Monk (quad). Offensive lineman Jager Burton (back) was limited after sitting out on Wednesday.

Offensive lineman Anthony Belton (knee), defensive tackle Anthony Campbell (ankle), defensive end Lukas Van Ness (shoulder), wide receiver Savion Williams (ankle), and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle) were also limited participants. Cornerback Brandon Cisse (neck) was a full participant.
