Klint Kubiak made the dangerous mistake of giving Chiefs Kingdom a quote with a halftime lead. Brittany Mahomes waited until the scoreboard finished the punchline.
The Las Vegas Raiders coach confidently told CBS, “We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,” with his team leading Kansas City 13-10. The Chiefs eventually escaped Allegiant Stadium with a 30-27 win, and Patrick Mahomes’ wife made sure those seven words got one more appearance before the night ended.
Brittany Mahomes Pulls Out the Halftime Receipt
Kubiak’s prediction came after CBS asked about a Raiders rushing attack that had produced only 17 yards in the first half. He acknowledged the problem, then planted his flag.
The Raiders came painfully close. They led 19-17 with less than five minutes remaining before Kenneth Walker III scored twice in a 19-second span, helping Kansas City turn another tight AFC West game into its fourth win of the season. Las Vegas’first loss also produced plenty of conversation around Kubiak’s late-game decisions.
Brittany then posted photos from the afternoon and borrowed Kubiak’s exact prediction for the caption.
“We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,”she wrote, adding a smirking emoji.
Those seven words served as one brutally timed receipt.
“I love a petty Brittany 👏,”one fan commented under her post on Instagram.
Brittany agreed, replying, “Me too 🙂.”
Another fan went straight to the other headline reaction.
“Tell them!!!!!”the fan commented.

Chiefs Fans Loved the Petty Victory Lap
The rest of the replies sounded like a fan base that had spent the second half waiting to revisit Kubiak’s confidence.
“The caption understood the assignment 😂👏🏻,”another fan wrote.
The reaction spilled over to X.
“She is funny asf 😭,”one fan wrote.
Another coined a nickname that probably has some staying power. “She’s the real Petty Maholmes 💅😂 love that she talks her [expletive]!”the fan wrote.

“I love when Brittany trolls on main,”another fan added.
Kansas City gave the joke a dramatic setup. Walker ripped off 177 rushing yards, Mahomes threw two touchdowns, and the Chiefs survived 30-27 to reach 4-0. Kirk Cousins answered with a late touchdown and two-point conversion, but Las Vegas could not finish one last drive.
Kubiak had the Chiefs on the ropes and entered Sunday undefeated. That was enough reason to feel confident at halftime.
It was also enough material for Brittany once the scoreboard flipped.
