Jason Whitlock wasn’t afraid to speak his mind on A’ja Wilson following the Aces’ Game 2 loss.

A’ja Wilson’s heated baseline clash with an Indiana spectator sent shockwaves through Game 2, but the fallout proved even louder.

After arena security cleared the fan of any wrongdoing, people like Jason Whitlock seized on the drama. Never one to hold back, Whitlock jumped on his X platform to go straight after the WNBA MVP over the exchange and suggested a secret reason behind the altercation.

He said: “A’ja Wilson last night, she was hot garbage. And in a way to distract from being hot garbage in a closeout game and the [Caitlin Clark} going for 27 and 15 and putting a clown suit on you, you turn around and make the whole thing about Indiana Fever fans because someone pointed at you.

“And this is who we’re trying to empower in America…This is why I talk about the WNBA. It’s being destroyed by feminism and women like this. It’s like these fans have no rights. I’m sick of it.”

Calling A’ja Wilson “hot garbage” is a bit of a stretch. She definitely struggled from the field, shooting 5-of-11, and looked off her usual rhythm. But she still managed 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals while hitting 12 of 13 free throws. It was a frustrating night, sure, but hardly a disaster.

Game 2 was a total flip from the series opener. In Game 1, Wilson completely took over, dropping a monster 38 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks while Clark couldn’t get going, shooting 6-for-17.

But Game 2 turned the tables. Clark answered back with a heavy 27-point, 15-assist night, leaving Wilson on the back foot and completely changing the momentum of the series.
