A Sonoma County jury found former Windsor Mayor Dominic Foppoli liable for sexually assaulting seven women, ordering him to pay $13 million.
Television personality Farrah Abraham, known for “Teen Mom,” expressed relief after the verdict.
Abraham is among 14 women accusing Foppoli of abuse, though she was not a plaintiff in this case.
She filed a separate suit alleging Foppoli drugged and raped her in Florida in March 2021.
Expressing relief over the outcome, Abraham reacted to the verdict.
“My first reaction was, thank God there was some justice,” Abraham said.
Offering sympathy to the survivors, Abraham extended her well wishes.
“My heart just goes out to them. I hope this gives them peace,” she said.
Foppoli, 44, denied all allegations, maintaining encounters were consensual.
Authorities suspended criminal investigations without filing charges.
Voicing concern over the lack of prosecution, Abraham addressed the situation.
“That is very concerning that we are not having criminal justice,” Abraham said.
Reflecting on the verdict, Abraham shared her gratitude.
“I am just so happy, I am so grateful that seven other Jane Does got justification,” she said.
Abraham said the outcome strengthened her resolve ahead of her February 2027 trial.
