SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Next Stamina) – San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Traffic Enforcement Officers conducted a targeted enforcement operation at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard, according to a statement from the SFPD.
The operation focused on identifying and citing drivers exceeding speed limits in the area.
Officials identified the location as part of the city’s High-Injury Network.
The High-Injury Network consists of city streets where a high concentration of severe and fatal traffic collisions occur.
According to the SFPD, the department intends to maintain its focus on these specific corridors.
“We’ll continue to prioritize enforcement along the city’s High-Injury Network,” the department stated.
The operation involved specialized Traffic Enforcement Officers stationed at the intersection.
Authorities did not release the specific number of citations issued during the event.
Future enforcement actions are expected to continue along identified high-risk transit routes within the city limits.
