SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Next Stamina) – San Francisco Police Department officers from Southern Station located Rosie McMurray, an 85-year-old woman previously reported missing and at-risk, on the 1300 block of 17th Street on the afternoon of April 9, 2026.
According to a statement from the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to a business regarding a well-being check and identified McMurray, who had been missing from the Northern police district.
McMurray had been last seen earlier that day at approximately 3:30 a.m. leaving her residence on the 1200 block of Fillmore Street.

Officials described her as a Black female, 5’4” and 170 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
The department classified McMurray as “at-risk” due to Alzheimer’s and a requirement for medication regarding a separate medical condition.


Police noted McMurray was last seen wearing a beige jacket, jeans, and white shoes while pushing a shopping cart.
She was known to frequent the McDonald’s located at Golden Gate Avenue and Fillmore Street.
Upon locating McMurray, responding officers requested a medical assessment. Paramedics evaluated McMurray at the scene.
Following the medical assessment, she was reunited with her family.
