Fantasy managers rejoice: Marvin Harrison Jr. reportedly on the move

Marvin Harrison Jr.’s tenure with the Cardinals reportedly is coming to an end. Here’s why he’s likely a buy-low fantasy WR, wherever he lands.

If you remember only one stat today, remember this: for his career, Harrison is averaging 1.70 fantasy points per target. That’s higher than many wide receivers’ 2026 averages, including George Pickens, Matthew Golden, and (believe it or not) current teammate Michael Wilson.

Whatever has been going on behind the scenes in Arizona, Harrison lost his spot at the top of the depth chart and clearly wasn’t expected to get it back. He’s been less targeted this year than Arizona’s #3 WR, Kendrick Bourne. He’s also gotten fewer looks than Jahan Dotson, Konata Mumpfield, and Dohnte Meyers.

Essentially, for nearly a year, Harrison has stopped being utilized as a former #1 overall draft pick. Instead, the team has used him as a highly visible decoy. Few recent former #1’s have needed a change of scenery more than Harrison.

That’s why wherever he ends up — even if he’s relegated to a distant #2 role — Harrison should see plenty more targets, and by extension, a lot more fantasy production. Managers should be investing in this news.
