The Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide both have five players that have already been ruled out for Saturday night’s game. Georgia and Alabama have their key players healthy for the most part.
The most important injured Georgia player is running back Chauncey Bowens, who is out for the Alabama game and leads Georgia in rushing touchdowns.
The Bulldogs are also without Kentucky running back transfer Dante Dowdell, who revealed he sustained a serious injuries in an ATV accident this offseason and will be out for an extended period of time. With Dowdell and Bowens out, look for Nate Frazier to take a lot of carries against Alabama. Frazier is recovering from a ribs injury.
Georgia offensive lineman Marcus Harrison is out. The Bulldogs remain without Auburn transfer edge rusher Amaris Williams, who tore his ACL in the spring and is out for the foreseeable future.
Alabama will be without five players against Georgia. The Crimson Tide have a fair amount of injuries on defense, but are mostly healthy on offense.
The Bulldogs play Alabama at 7:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 10. Georgia and Alabam will release an updated injury report 90 minutes before kickoff.
