Yankees’ Aaron Judge makes ‘all-in’ demand to front office after ALDS sweep that left him ‘hating’ appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The New York Yankees were eliminated by the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS, and it extended a 17-season drought that left them without a championship. For Aaron Judge, he was not a fan of seeing his team get swept, and it might take some time for him to truly get over the way this one ended.
“Just hating every single moment of it,” Judge said via ESPN’s Jorge Castillo. “Thinking about the whole year, thinking about missed opportunities in the season, in that series. Things that can be improved on, things I can improve on. Just hating every single moment of it so I don’t forget.”
Judge apparently had a message for the Yankees after the game, but he also had some words for the front office, telling them that it’s time to put all their chips on the table.

“We’re the Yankees,” Judge said. “I feel like they should go all-in and do what they need to do and if we got holes, it’s finding certain players or personnel, whatever we need, we got to go out there and get it. That’s why I signed back here to play with the Yankees, is to fight for a championship every single year and go all-in. That’s what I do every offseason is to get ready to give this team and this city everything I got. So I expect them to do the same.”
There’s no question that the Yankees will try to make the necessary moves to improve their roster over the offseason. That means that some players may be gone, while a few may be added to boost their chances of making a deeper run for next season.
It seems like Judge is okay with that, and his main focus is winning a championship, which he hasn’t done in his career yet.
