CB Mansoor Delane

Delane had another great game, and he got it done against a really good offense. Delane had the assignment of covering Las Vegas Raiders star TE Brock Bowers, and he did it. Bowers was going to have success on Sunday, but Delane once again looked like a CB1 in Kansas City’s defense.

The Chiefs are on their bye week.

Safety A.J. Haulcy

Compared to Delane’s success, Haulcy is doing the opposite. He was, once again, out of position on a massive play the opposing offense had, and it’s clear the rookie problems are not going away.

Next game will be against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is good news because they have struggled when throwing deep. Haulcy may be able to bounce back.

WR Zavion Thomas

Again, as we have seen most of the season, Thomas hasn’t been used in the offense, but it could get worse. Thomas is also struggling a bit in the return game and fumbled against the New York Jets, but the Bears recovered it.

If these return struggles continue, the Bears may make a change on special teams, but we will see if that happens against their heated rival, the Green Bay Packers.

TE Bauer Sharp

The Buccaneers are 0-4, and Sharp is still not playing. At this point, we can blame the coaching staff, but hopefully that changes soon.

WR Barion Brown

It really feels like Brown and Thomas are in the same exact situations. Neither is involved in the offense, with maybe some plays here and there, and their impact on the return game is not good enough. Brown hasn’t had a potential fumble yet on returns, so props to Brown.

This week against the Vikings, I believe Brown could have a bigger role with fellow rookie WR Bryce Lance’s struggles, but against a tough defense, that may not happen.

LB Harold Perkins

Against the New Orleans Saints, in a bit of a revenge game for Perkins, the young LB had his best performance of his career so far. He was everywhere on the field and, in pass coverage, made multiple plays that sustained the Falcons’ lead.

Against a very difficult Ravens offense, Perkins will have a tall task ahead of him, but it’s also the perfect opportunity to prove his impact isn’t just because of the opposing team’s struggles.

QB Garrett Nussmeier

Did not play because Patrick Mahomes is healthy.

EDGE Jack Pyburn

Was inactive for the Chiefs.
