The Alabama high school volleyball scene has entered the playoffs as area tournament brackets have been released by the AHSAA.

Area tournaments can start on Oct. 12 and must end by Oct. 16. Classes 1A-5A default to Oct. 13 and 14 while Class 6A and the two private school classes default for Oct. 15 and 16. From there, Classes 1A-5A will play in the new subregional round ahead of the regional tournament.

The regional tournaments take place in Montgomery and Hoover from Oct. 21-23 ahead of the state tournament. The state tournament starts on Oct. 27 with Class 6A, 1A and the private schools before they play state title matches on the 28th. Classes 2A-5A start on the 28th and end on the 29th with state title matches.
