Ben Whittaker def. Conor Wallace by Unanimous Decision

OFFICIAL SCORES: 117-111, 116-112, 115-113 for Whittaker
Round 12: Wallace is going for it. And Whittaker is tackling him. Yeah, I do not believe in this guy. Whittakerโ€™s hurt. They arguably could have called two or three knockdowns and have called none. Whittakerโ€™s showing right now is horrible. If he makes the bell heโ€™s going to win this fight but there are massive questions coming out of it now. Whittaker just falling all over the place, grabbing, tackling, anything he can do to stay up or stop from being dropped by a punch. A huge round for Wallace but he couldnโ€™t get him out and he needed to get him out. Wallace 10-8, Whittaker 117-111
Round 11: Whittaker back to take this round, but Wallaceโ€™s aggression has put him in the fight, sort of, except the problem is he probably lost all of the first nine rounds. And this one, probably. Whittaker 10-9, 109-101
Round 10: Well, Conor Wallace is doing something now, and heโ€™s having success. Planting his feet, throwing shots, landing. Whittaker is not responding well, then his eyes get angry and he throws punches, but theyโ€™re not in โ€œhis flow,โ€ and they donโ€™t land. Whittaker also complaining a lot to the referee. Whittaker landing a bit later, but Wallace is there with him. Best round of the fight. Wallace 10-9, Whittaker 99-92
Round 9: Wallace is doing nothing. Whittaker too cautious, and heโ€™s coasting, but Wallace cannot do anything about it or heโ€™ll get tagged. So itโ€™s quite dull at this point. Whittaker 10-9, 90-82
Round 8: Itโ€™s basically more of the same. Whittaker 10-9, 80-73
Round 7: Look, I canโ€™t keep saying the same things over and over. I mean, I can, but why? Whittaker 10-9, 70-64
Round 6: Wallace is at least showing some more aggression. Itโ€™s not likely to pay off for him but at least it gives him any chance. Whittaker laying back more this round to slow Wallace down, just subtle changes in how heโ€™s moving around the ring and then Wallace is back to staring and waiting, but the other hand of that is Wallace isnโ€™t forcing anything Whittaker can capitalize on, either. Whittaker probably steals the round at the end. Whittaker 10-9, 60-55
Round 5: There really isnโ€™t anything Wallace can do with Whittaker. Even the shots he land feel halfway by accident and thereโ€™s not much on them because heโ€™s not really in position to land like he wants. Heโ€™s just the second-best fighter of two, and by a lot. Thatโ€™s been the story so far. Whittaker winds up and pushes him back with an overhand right late in the round. Whittaker 10-9, 50-46
Round 4: Whittaker swipes him with another hook, then makes a little move forward. Even if youโ€™re not exactly thrilled with what Whittaker is doing offensively, Wallace is really doing nothing and looks more and more like heโ€™s got no idea what to do or how he might even consider leading the action. Whittaker styling on him in that obnoxious fashion that makes people not like him, or at least people who visit boxing web sites. Whittaker 10-9, 40-37
Round 3: Whittaker lands a sharp hook, Wallace takes it well but wonโ€™t want to take many of those. And if Whittakerโ€™s tempo continues like this, he wonโ€™t! I like the way Whittaker changes levels. Whittaker clips Wallace and rattles him a bit, then looks to see if itโ€™s worth jumping on. Not entirely. Wallace is cut, though. Whittaker 10-9, 30-28
Round 2: You see the obvious, massive speed advantage of Whittaker whenever he does let his hands move. Wallace looks nervy in his calmness, but not in a โ€œscaredโ€ or anxious way, more that heโ€™s really looking for any mistake to capitalize on. Wallace sort of shoves a jab in and then Whittaker lands a handful in return, including to the body. Whittaker 10-9, 20-19
Round 1: Not a lot in the round at all. Whittaker sort of feeling it out, Wallace came close on a couple of shots but didnโ€™t really get anything there. If I had to give it to anyone I guess Iโ€™d give it to Whittaker, but you actually donโ€™t and Iโ€™m going to believe in my own advice and score more 10-10 rounds, even though almost no judges score any at all in major fights. 10-10

Odel Kamara def. Thodoris Ritzakis by TKO

Official Time: 2:53 of Round 3
Probably didnโ€™t need to be stopped. Not the greatest debut but debuts are generally sort of useless. A kid with butterflies tried too hard to get the KO, heโ€™ll be calmer having gotten this over with.

Hamza Uddin def. Sean Bruce by TKO

Uddin wins British and Commonwealth flyweight titles
Official Time: 2:49 of Round 8
Uddin (8-0, 5 KO) was just the better fighter, no two ways about it. He was better than the game Bruce (8-3, 0 KO) all the way through. Bruce was down twice in the fifth and just took a beating. Uddin is not going to win over neutrals with his attitude and personality, but the guy is a class above the domestic scene at 112.

Bilal Fawaz def. Eithan James by TKO

Fawaz retains British super welterweight title
Official Time: 1:14 of Round 8
James (17-3, 0 KO) fought OK and gave Fawaz a good challenge, but Fawaz is just really hard to fight at this level. He brings so much energy, itโ€™s just really hard to keep him at bay for 12 rounds, and most of his opponents at this level arenโ€™t going to have the power or conditioning to figure that out. James doesnโ€™t have power, and he folded not out of lacking effort or toughness, he was just worn out. He went down twice in Round 8 and that was that.

What a finish from @BilalFawaz_ 👏

Ibraheem Sulaimaan def. Sonny Hardy by unanimous decision

Official Scores: 96-93, 97-93, 97-93 for Sulaimaan
A notably terrific Round 7 and a damn good fight in all. But that 7th round charge might have pretty much done Hardy in, too. Still, he gave this a tremendous effort, gave himself a chance to win, and he just came up short. Sulaimaan is now 12-0 (5 KO), while Hardy drops to 12-1 (5 KO).
