NASCAR Las Vegas qualifying results, Denny Hamlin on Cup Series pole as starting lineup set

Denny Hamlin is on the pole for the South Point 400NASCAR Cup Series race on Oct. 4 at Las Vegas.
After a stretch of qualifying rainouts to start the Chase, Hamlin claimed the pole with a lap of 28.910 seconds ahead of his three teammates.
Joe Gibbs Racing will start 1-2-3-4 at the 1.5-mile oval, with 23XI Racing Toyota’s Tyler Reddick in fifth.
Joey Logano (23rd) is the lone Chase driver starting outside of the top 20.
