Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith has broken the all-time school receptions record of 205 previously held by Emeka Egbuka. Smith set the new mark during the Ohio State-Iowa game Oct. 3.
Smith entered the game needing 10 receptions to pass Egbuka, who set the record in the 2024-25 season.
Smith set the program receiving yards record in Ohio State’s win against Kent State on Sept. 19. He broke the all-time receiving touchdowns record earlier in the Iowa game.
If he forgoes his last year of college eligibility after the 2026 season, Smith is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2027 NFL Draft.
