CLEMSON — With game day having arrived for Clemson football vs. Miami, a more clearer view of the forecast is now here.
The Tigers (3-1, 2-0 ACC) host the Hurricanes (4-0, 2-0) on Oct. 3 (7:30 p.m., ABC).
AccuWeather forecasts mostly cloudy conditions with thunderstorms at 7 p.m. The Weather Channel forecasts “heavy thunderstorms” and a 91% chance of precipitation for Clemson at 7 p.m. It also forecasts an 89% chance of precipitation and thunderstorms at 8 p.m. Rain is then forecast in all hours after that until Oct. 4.
Clemson says it is “monitoring potential inclement weather this weekend” and that it will announce “any impacts to the game” if they arrive. The school is advising fans to “exercise caution” when traveling to Clemson and Memorial Stadium for the game.
If a weather delay occurs, it will be the fourth for the Tigers this season and their third in as many home games. The most weather delays Memorial Stadium has had in a season is two, a record set last season in games against Troy and Syracuse.
When is Clemson vs. Miami?
Clemson will face Miami on Oct. 3 during Week 5 of the college football season. It will be the Tigers’ third home game of the season.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. from Memorial Stadium. It will be televised on ABC.
