Week 4 of the NFL season starts in Cleveland with the 2-1 Pittsburgh Steelers at the… hold up, lemme double check here, this says 2-1 Cleveland Browns?! Is this real?
Yes, it is. Cleveland has beaten the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers over the past two weeks, which means Jared Verse’s new team has a better record than his old team. I’m not expecting that to last much longer, but it’d be funny if the Browns finished with a better record than the Los Angeles Rams.
The Steelers were a tough watch over two weeks before lighting up the scoreboard against the Cincinnati Bengals, winning a 30-27 thriller. DK Metcalf scored his (desperately needed) first touchdown of the season in pure Looney Tunes fashion when you watch the Bengals DBs.
For whatever reason, the Browns are damn near unbeatable when hosting TNF, while the Steelers are a complete disaster in TNF road games. Will history repeat itself?
