Manchester City defender Nico O’Reilly has withdrawn from the England squad due to injury.

O’Reilly had a difficult game in England’s first fixture in the international break – the 3-2 defeat at home to Spain – and missed the subsequent 2-0 win away to Czechia.

Club manager Enzo Maresca will be hoping O’Reilly is fit enough for his team’s next fixture away to Liverpool in the Premier League – the first since the club was found guilty of 114 charges.
