Speaking to the media this week ahead of the Spain U-20s match against Mexico, the president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Rafael Louzan, addressed the topic of the 2030 FIFA World Cup final hosting rights.
The next World Cup will be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, while Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay will also be involved in the centenary celebrations of the tournament.
Real Madridโs Santiago Bernabeu has emerged as one of the potential venues to host the final, along with Barcelonaโs Spotify Camp Nou.
The under-construction Hassan II Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, is also in the running for the hosting rights of the showpiece event.
Louzan insists Spain will host the final
Louzan, though, continued to push for Spain as the host for the final, with Madrid or Barcelona being the likeliest locations.

โWe will try to go to one of the two giants (Real Madrid or Barรงa),โ he said, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
Continuing, he added: โThe 2030 World Cup begins in Spain with Spain and Portugal. Itโs the Centenary year . We are the most important country in the world when it comes to football.
โThis World Cup, which starts in Spain and Portugal, and in which Morocco also participates, must be completed in Spain.
โWe have to finish all 11 stadiums, the nine main ones and the two adjacent ones, so that we can host the best World Cup in history.โ
Not stopping there, he insisted: โWe are going to organize the final in Spain.โ
Infantinoโs future and the World Cup decision

Louzan was also asked whether the outcome could depend on Gianni Infantino continuing as the FIFA president.
In response, the RFEF chief said that this was a decision for FIFAโs 211 member associations and noted that Infantino has announced his candidacy.
โI canโt decide that. It has to be decided by the 211 countries with voting rights. We have to see who submits a bid by November 18th. Infantino has submitted his candidacy, and weโll wait and see what happens,โ he concluded.
