Two handshakes were extended during the UFC Fight Night 291 main event faceoff Friday. Neither were accepted.
UFC Fight Night 291 takes place Saturday at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and streams on Paramount+ and is headlined by Joaquin Buckley vs. Mike Malott.
Buckley (21-8 MMA, 11-6 UFC) ignored the extended hand from Malott (14-2-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) – and one from UFC CEO Dana White – and instead opted to stare through his opponent’s soul.
The co-main event had some snarl, as well, though lesser so. Women’s flyweights Erin Blanchfield and Jasmine Jasudavicius were all business.

Blanchfield (14-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) got close to Jasudavicius (15-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC) during the faceoff, and didn’t appreciate the Canadian’s arm getting in her face as they turned to the crowd.
