Two burglars stole approximately $100,000 worth of collectibles from Elite Sports Cards and Comics early Monday morning.

Police said the incident occurred at 1:54 a.m. at the business located at 3406A N. Harlem Ave., situated near Roscoe Street, CBS Chicago reported.

The suspects gained entry to the establishment by breaking a window.

The owner of the store stated the value of the stolen merchandise totals about $100,000.

Following the theft, the suspects fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle, according to police statements.

Grand Central Area detectives were investigating the case as of early Monday. No suspects are currently in custody.
