Baseball’s most popular attraction is coming to Pensacola.
Banana Ball is coming to Blue Wahoos Stadium May 21-22 when the Loco Beach Coconuts take on the Indianapolis Clowns as part of their world tour.
It’s one of three trips the league will make to Florida next year. The Loco Beach Coconuts and the Bananas will play at Tropicana Field on May 7-8, while the Coconuts will play the Party Animals in LoanDepot Park on Sept. 11.
The Bananas debuted in 2016 in Savannah, Georgia with the goal of making baseball fun. Initially a collegiate summer baseball team in the Coastal Plain League, the team debuted its now world famous “Banana Ball” in 2018 before folding its college team in 2022 and becoming a barnstorming team.
