Tennessee Vols basketball has its first exhibition of the 2026-27 season in hosting Xavier on Oct. 15 at Thompson- Boling Arena.

The Vols have two tough exhibition tests, with Xavier this week and Duke on Oct. 20. Transfer guards Terrence Hill Jr., Dai Dai Ames and Juke Harris will play a home game inside the Food City Center for the first time.

Xavier, under coach Richard Pitino, has a veteran, transfer-heavy roster with names familiar to Tennessee, like LSU transfer Mike Nwoko and Texas A&M transfer Ruben Dominguez. UAB transfer guard Chance Westry and Miami (FL) transfer guard Tru Washington will lead a talented backcourt.

The Musketeers beat Dayton in the program’s first exhibition of the season.
