Stephen A. Smith’s top 5 teams in the NFL after week five

With week five now officially in the books, Stephen A. Smith has once again updated his NFL rankings.

It was a big week of football, which included the San Francisco 49ers securing a win over the Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings extending their unbeaten run.

The Kansas City Chiefs, who are the other undefeated team left in the NFL this season, did not have a game, but they have maintained their place in Smith’s top five for another week.

This time last week, Smith’s top five was the Chiefs (1st), the 49ers (2nd), the Vikings (3rd), the Jacksonville Jaguars (4th) and the Chicago Bears (5th).

However, when appearing on First Take after week five, two teams have dropped out and the Chiefs have slipped down to second, which is probably expected given they did not have a game.

Instead, the 5-0 49ers have managed to take the top spot, with the Chiefs and the Vikings making up the top three, just as they did after last week.

However, both the Jaguars and the Bears have dropped out of the top five in the eyes of Smith.

Instead, he has put the Baltimore Ravens in fourth place and given the final spot in his list to the Buffalo Bills.

Chris Canty was alongside Smith when he revealed his rankings and disagreed with the Ravens being fourth, instead suggesting the Jaguars should have been in there.
